I originally planned to order some taffy because I think your taffy is the best I’ve ever had. I am on your email list, so I received a glowing email about your turtles and decided to try them as a Christmas treat for my family. The pictures and the price tag certainly made me believe that the turtles would be worth the money. As far as packaging, the red box that holds the turtles was not very well cushioned from the inside, so the turtles were not in a pretty presentation when opened (they were shipped to me across the county). Overall, I found them very underwhelming. The bottom layer of turtles were tiny - there’s barely any chocolate on them vs caramel and pecans. I can’t believe I spent $32 on 12 turtles. I apologize for my disappointment, but I would not recommend these to anyone. Your taffy is fantastic, however. One more note… I’m not sure how fresh the turtles I received actually were. The package bottom had a product description with a date of 7-31-25.
This year the pecan delights are still delicious but much smaller in size.
I have been buying these for many years in the store and online. Last year I noticed the packaging change to 12 individual slots instead of based on weight like previously. Sad to say I may have to reconsider buying now that they are so small.
The pecan delights are delicious. I have ordered these every year lately. I’m so happy you have finally fixed the issue with having a large amount of pecans in the bottom of the box. With the way they are boxed and shipped in bubble wrap now hardly any pecans came off of the candy. Thanks
